 Beverly, RDH, Hygienist
Beverly, who has been with Dr. Huckabee for almost 11 years, runs our hygiene department. She has developed a strong and lasting relationship with so many of our patients. Her professionalism and passion for patient care exemplify what Huckabee Dental is all about. Beverly received her BS in Dental Hygiene in 1984 from Wharton College.
Bev has been a personal trainer for 15 years and enjoys teaching Yoga and Pilates. She and her husband of 16 years, Jeff, attend Irving Bible Church. They moved to Southlake from Coppell about 5 years ago when they realized they needed a bigger house for their "baby", Rocco Kitty, who by the way is potty trained and brushes his teeth twice a day! Seriously! We’re working on the video right now. |
 Jennifer, RDH, Hygienist
Jennifer has been our resident "hygienist with the big blonde hair" since 1998. Jennifer has the ability to make everyone she comes in contact with feel like a long lost friend, even when they are meeting her for the very first time. Patients adore her…and when we say adore we mean ADORE. Jennifer graduated with a BS in Dental Hygiene from Midwestern in 1995 and prides herself on building trusting relationships with our patients.
Jennifer and her husband, Darron, have two beautiful daughters, Lauren who is 3 and Makenna who was just born in November 2008. They live in Grapevine and are very active in their church. In her spare time, she enjoys scrapbooking and exercising. Do people really enjoy exercising? No doubt she will have much less free time with a new baby in the house. We predict her new hobby will be sleeping! |
 Amanda, RDH, Hygienist
Amanda came in October 2005, making the dynamic hygiene duo a trio. We don’t know how she does it, but she is happy all the time, which makes everyone around her happy, which is why we (and our patients) love her so much. Sometimes, you will hear Amanda singing brushing songs to the kiddos in the office. If you are really lucky, you might even have the opportunity to hear her rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody" which, believe us, will be hard to get out of your head once you hear it.
Amanda has a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from Texas A&M Commerce and graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene from Tarrant County College in 2000. Amanda and her husband, Lanny, have two children, Hannah and Landon, who, according to Amanda, are "the cutest darn kids you’ll ever seen." Amanda recently transformed her treatment room into a tranquil retreat where the lucky few can have the opportunity to see just how ridiculously cute her entire family is. |
 Nancy, RDH, Hygienist
Nancy joined the Huckabee hygiene team in July 2006 bringing with her over 25 years of advanced periodontal experience. Nancy graduated in 1982 with an Associates in Dental Hygiene from Tarrant County College. That was way back when they all had the cute white nurses uniforms and the matching hats. The pictures are classic and really good for a pick me up when you are having a bad day.
Nancy and her husband, David, have four children (a 16 year old daughter and 17 year old triplet boys!) yet she still finds time to work full time as our hygienist as well as owning/operating a Christian accessories boutique at Main Street Station in Grapevine. Her hobbies include event planning and interior decorating. Whenever we get tired and weary, we just look to Nancy for the inspiration to keep on keeping on. |
 Kimbra, RDH, Hygienist
Kimbra, the newest member of our hygiene department, joined us in July 2007. She is the sister-in-law to hygienist Jennifer, the sister to Jen’s husband, Darron, and the aunt to Jen’s daughters, Lauren and Makenna. And yes, there will be a test.
Before attending hygiene school, Kimbra worked as an assistant here and loved it so much she had to come back after she graduated. Kimbra is originally from Oklahoma. We don’t hold that against her although she is easily recognized in the office as the girl with the hick accent. Kimbra graduated from Midwestern University with a Bachelors in Dental Hygiene. She and her longtime boyfriend, Jacob, were recently married and are busy renovating their newly purchased home sweet home. Now she’s the girl with the hick accent and the "big ol’ shiny diamond rang!" |
 Joshua, RDA, Sterilization Technician/Dental Assistant
Josh made such an impression on us as a patient that we recruited him to work for us. In a little over a year, Josh has gone from sterilization trainee to registered dental assistant. His infectious smile and personality got him the job but his intelligence and dedication are keeping him here. And ladies, yes, he’s single.
Josh has a knack for quoting movie and television lines verbatim and does some spot on impersonations… "umkay?" He works hard…to break up our sometimes long workday by keeping us laughing. We thank him for that often. And he answers in the true spirit of MadTV, "Yeah, you are welcome. You are welcome. You like Mike and Ikes? Where your boyfriend at?" |
 Chelsa, RDA, Clinical Assistant
Chelsa has been with Huckabee Dental since July 2007. She lives in Azle with her beautiful daughter, Cheyenne, who is the absolute love of her life. Chelsa actually admits that she enjoys hunting and riding four-wheelers. We’ve all developed post-traumatic hunting trip disorder by being forced to look at her grotesque expedition pictures. Chelsa’s real passions are spending time with her family and friends and shopping, undoubtedly for camouflage.
Chelsa is a wonderful addition to our staff and brings years of dental experience to our office. She is a registered phlebotomist and assists Dr. White with his surgical and sedation cases. Her sweet spirit and gentle nature always put our patients at ease. She’s the only one we know of who can stretch a simple "Thank You" into four syllables with her charming Southern drawl. |
 Catrice, RDA, Clinical Assistant
Cat joined us in the summer of 2007 and brought with her over 12 years of dental assisting experience. She likes pina coladas and getting caught in the rain. Wait, isn’t that a song? OK, for real, she likes camping in Colorado with family and loves spending time with her girls, Jordan and Sydney. She lives with her partner of 15 years, Linda, in Roanoke.
She enjoys playing soccer and being crafty, not shifty, crafty. Not only is she crafty, but Cat’s also pretty handy, too. She can fix pretty much anything you throw at her (if you throw some money along with it). She’s also become quite the practical jokester around here much to the chagrin of many of the employees. Cat has brought such a wealth of experience to our office and we are so glad that she chose our office to be her home. |
 Jeannie, RDA, Clinical Assistant
Meet, Jeannie, a Texan transplanted to Nebraska and recently reunited with her long lost home state. Since her very first day here, our patients have commented on how awesome she is. She fits right in with our staff! She has had no problem meeting our requirements for excellence with over 8 years of clinical experience and a friendly, calming spirit. She also easily met our requirement to lean a little to the crazy side. For instance, Jeannie recently went into braces and does a hilarious impression of Ugly Betty that will knock your socks off! She takes requests, too, so ask the next time you see her.
She and her husband of six years, Jimmy, were high school sweethearts! Together they have two children, Hailey and Hunter. Jeannie’s hobbies include painting and four wheeling. Hummm, seems to be a reoccurring theme around here. She’s also been overheard boasting that she’s in training to compete on American Gladiators. Doesn’t she look like someone you would want to avoid in a dark alley? |
 Beth, RDA, Clinical Assistant
Beth has been assisting with us since September 2008. She is fairly new to dentistry, graduating from dental assisting school in 2006, but she acts and performs like she’s been assisting her entire life. She is so comfortable working with the doctors and taking care of our patients. Beth loves her job and it shows. She loves to laugh. It is because of this that we’ve already determined we need to keep her far, far away from Josh. She has done so well in the short time she’s been here that she has already been dubbed our "Deep Bleaching Goddess".
Beth has a little boy, Steven Peter, who is three years old and not spoiled at all (as is very obvious by the picture). She likes to spend her free time shopping and (yawn) four wheeling. Shopping, four wheeling, shopping, working out, four wheeling…we seriously need some new hobbies around here. |
 Jennifer, Practice Administrator
Jennifer is in her fifth year of employment with Huckabee Dental, not consecutively, but five years none the less. She loves Huckabee Dental so much that she drives from Mansfield every day to be here. Jennifer has been in the dental industry for almost 20 years. Her advanced knowledge in every aspect of dentistry enables her to provide guidance and training in all areas of our office. She has worked diligently to create an atmosphere of teamwork and respect, making Huckabee Dental an awesome place to work. And she didn’t write this, either. On the negative side, Jennifer can mess up a perio chart faster than you can blink, so the hygienists have learned the hard way to avoid her help at all costs.
She has three gorgeous girls, Micah, Salem, and Chloe, with her husband of almost 17 years, Trent, who has vowed to prevent them from dating until they are 30. Jennifer is currently working toward a degree in accounting and will hopefully be graduating sometime within the next 10 years or so. Her motto is better late than never. When there is spare time, she enjoys listening to jazz, watching old movies, and getting pedicures! |
 Lisa, Insurance/Financial Coordinator
The year 2000 brought Lisa to our practice and boy are we glad! She and her little ladies, Jasmine and Jae, live in Fort Worth. Lisa’s smile lights up a room, but don’t let that fool you. She’ll fight when she has too, especially for your insurance money! Lisa knows just about every patient by name and most of our patients look for her smiling face whenever they come in for appointments. She enjoys singing in her church choir, spending time with her godchild, London Ray, and learning the latest dance moves from her daughters (ask her to do "Pop, Lock and Drop" the next time you see her!)
Lisa’s loves using her many years of dental experience to help patients get the most from their insurance coverage. If you don’t know the answer, Lisa will go above and beyond to get it for you. She is always ready and willing to help and is an invaluable asset to our office. |
 Bre Lechtenberg, Treatment Coordinator
When we met Bre, we knew she would be a perfect compliment to our staff. She has made such a positive impact on our practice. Her warm smile, professional demeanor, and friendly, upbeat personality left us saying, "Are you for real?" It takes a truly talented individual to smile ALL the time. It was then that we found out she follows a strict regimen of daily self medication.
Coming from a medical background, Bre decided to make the transition to dentistry about two years ago. Bre has the daunting task of performing our treatment consultations and keeping up with the doctor’s schedules; hence, the need for medication. She and her husband, Tim, dote on their almost three year old daughter, Sage. We often wonder if talking about her family makes her hungry. Bre enjoys singing, watching movies, and dancing. (We should get her together with Lisa for a dance-off sometime!) We are so glad to have her in our office and we are certain that our patients will enjoy meeting and getting to know her. You can’t miss her. She’s the one at the front desk with the huge dimples. |
 Tammy, Recall Coordinator
Tammy joined our business office as the coordinator for the hygiene schedule in March 2008 and boy has she been busy! Keeping 5 hygienists’ schedules organized is a huge undertaking and Tammy does it with near perfection. Tammy brings over 10 years of dental business office and management experience to our practice. Her experience has been a welcome addition to our practice.
Tammy is a dedicated mother who loves spending time with her “peeps” (her two children, Shelby and Cody.) She enjoys the beach and swimming. Tammy is always thinking of others. She does little things like bringing candy, donuts, and other high fat/high calorie foods to the office and basically forces us to consume them. She says she is creating job security for herself. We say she’s the devil in disguise. |
