Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Timothy Huckabee

Dr. Huckabee earned his dental degree in 1987 from Baylor College of Dentistry. In 1991, he opened his private practice in Southlake. Dr. Huckabee is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Association and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

He is a graduate of the Advanced Aesthetic Program at New York University and Albert Einstein College of Medicine IV Sedation and Dentistry Courses Dr. Huckabee’s focus on lifelong learning allows him to master the latest advancements in both aesthetic and restorative dentistry.  He has authored articles in leading dental journals and received advanced training from some of the nation’s most prominent postgraduate dental training facilities, including the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.  His easygoing personality delivers the benefits of state-of-the-art dentistry to our patients in the most relaxing manner possible.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Huckabee enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, skiing and hiking with his three dogs Buddy, Charlie and Bear.


Dr. Brett Baker

Dr. Baker graduated with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Japanese language from the University of Utah in 1994. After a few years in the workforce, he decided that his true calling was dentistry, at which time he made the decision to go back to school.

He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006 and was the president of his dental school class during both his junior and senior years. Dr. Baker chose to complete his general practice residency at Carolinas Medical Center, which is a Level 1 trauma hospital.

During his time as a dentist, he has participated in and coordinated several dental mission trips to Jamaica. He also managed and owned dental practices in the Las Vegas, NV area for years before relocating to the Southlake area in 2010.

Dr. Baker’s approach to dentistry is to provide excellent restorative dental care for the entire family.

During Dr. Baker’s free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, 2 children, and his dog (Kona the Boxer). His hobbies include running, cycling, and swimming. He finished the Texas IRONMAN triathlon in 2018 and his 6th marathon in February 2020.

Dr. Tracy Morales

Born and raised in San Antonio, Dr. Morales attended St. Mary’s University for her undergraduate studies and earned a BS degree in Biology in 2009. Dr. Morales then made the move to Dallas to begin her studies at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry.

After receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013, she and her husband spent some time travelling around the state of Texas. She lived and worked in Austin while her husband attended UT for graduate school.

It was in the Austin area that Dr. Morales gained experience working at a pediatric dental office and was voted “Best Dentist” in Bastrop, Texas in the fall of 2013. After her time in Austin, a move to Houston brought her back to a family dental practice. Since then, she and her husband settled in the Southlake area.

During her free time, Dr. Morales enjoys spending time with her husband and family, training for her next half marathon, playing with her beagle Bentley, and cheering for her San Antonio Spurs.

Dr. Tom Draper

Dr. Draper is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He received his dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2003 after which he went on to obtain his medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Baylor College of Dentistry and Baylor University Medical Center in 2009.

Dr. Draper has admitting and operating room privileges at both Baylor University Medical Center and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He is also a maxillofacial trauma attending surgeon at Baylor University Medical Center, where he is involved with training residents in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program at Baylor College of Dentistry.

He specializes in the treatment of diseases, injuries and malformations involving functional and aesthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Draper has also been appointed an oral surgeon associated with the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasia.

Dr. Draper currently lives in Dallas, TX with his wife and three daughters. During his time off, he enjoys supporting his favorite hockey team, the Dallas Stars, and skiing in Colorado with his family.

We are taking all the necessary precautions recommended by the CDC and local health agencies in the DFW Area. In a small controlled environment such as our offices it is easy to quickly and swiftly implement new emerging protocols as those recommendations become available. We will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves.

When you arrive call 817-329-4746 to inform us you’re in the parking lot.  We will text you when your room is available. You will then simply walk in and we’ll show you to your treatment room.

 

No-Fee Rescheduling

There will be no fee for rescheduling or canceling an appointment.  However, let us know as soon as possible so we can staff the office appropriately.  We do request that any patients with symptoms associated with COVID 19 (fever, cough, difficulty breathing, etc) or been in close contact recently with anyone with these symptoms please notify us so that we can reschedule your appointment. For those patients who fall into a higher risk category (elderly or pre-existing conditions) for severe responses to COVID-19 who would like to reschedule their appointment, we please ask that you notify our office as soon as you have made this decision.

 

Social Distancing and other measures

We are temperature testing all staff twice daily for fever.  We also temperature test all patients. Anyone with a temperature above 100 will be sent home.
 
In this rapidly evolving situation we will continue to closely monitor guidelines and make changes to our current response as needed.  Non-clinical areas have increased disinfecting measures put in place At Cross Timbers Dental the health and well-being of our patients and team member has always been of upmost important. We understand the concerns and uncertainty surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and are committed to being responsive to the needs of our community as the situation evolves and more information is provided.
