Dental Experience

Dr. Silvio Arauz brings over 14 years of experience delivering high-quality, compassionate dental care to patients of all ages. Born and raised in Nicaragua, he completed his undergraduate education at Universidad Americana before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry.

Inspired early on by his sister’s journey through dental school, Dr. Arauz knew from a young age that dentistry was his calling. He has built his career on a patient-centered philosophy, emphasizing clear communication, trust, and personalized care. He takes time to understand each patient’s needs and works alongside them to develop treatment plans that help them feel comfortable, confident, and informed every step of the way.

Committed to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry, Dr. Arauz regularly pursues continuing education and advanced training. He has expanded his expertise in same-day crowns, dental implant restoration, and Invisalign®, allowing him to provide efficient, comprehensive, and technology-driven solutions tailored to each patient. His goal is to make every dental visit as relaxed and stress-free as possible while delivering long-lasting, high-quality results.

Life Outside of Dentistry

Outside the office, Dr. Arauz enjoys spending time with his wife, Jen, and their two children, Lincoln and Nora, as well as their dog, Sally. He is a dedicated family man and proud supporter of his kids’ activities, often found cheering them on at baseball and softball games. When not at the ballpark, he enjoys cooking and smoking meats, trying new recipes, going on family bike rides, and listening to history podcasts. He is also an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Bears.
