Dr. Huckabee has over three decades of experience providing exceptional dental care to patients in Southlake, TX, and beyond. After studying at Texas Tech, he earned his doctorate from Baylor College of Dentistry (now Texas A&M College of Dentistry) and has pursued extensive postgraduate education at prestigious institutions, including the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Studies and New York University’s Advanced Aesthetic program.
His passion for dentistry stems from his own childhood dental trauma, which inspired him to provide detail-oriented, patient-focused care. Dr. Huckabee specializes in preventative, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, ensuring that every patient receives the most advanced treatments in a comfortable, relaxing environment. He is also trained in sedation dentistry through Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, allowing him to offer stress-free care to patients with dental anxiety. A member of the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association, Dr. Huckabee remains at the forefront of modern dentistry, delivering state-of-the-art solutions to his community.
Life Outside of Dentistry
When he’s not transforming smiles, Dr. Huckabee enjoys an active lifestyle filled with family, fitness and the great outdoors. He and his wife, Anne, have three children and love spending time together, whether grilling out, attending church or exploring nature. A dedicated Southlake resident, he values connecting with his community and creating lasting relationships with his patients.
An avid cyclist and CrossFit enthusiast, Dr. Huckabee enjoys bike riding at White Rock Lake, hiking with his dogs and staying active. He also spends at least 30 days a year in Colorado for biking, hiking and skiing, embracing his love for adventure. Whether he’s participating in local events or enjoying the area’s amenities, Dr. Huckabee brings the same warmth and enthusiasm to his personal life as he does to his practice.
